"First of All, Servants of All, We Shall Transcend All!"
Greetings to my fellow brother and visitors,
My name is Michael Livingston II, and I have the duty and honor of serving as the President of the Gamma Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. I am a rising senior English major from Laurel, Maryland. On campus, I am a HIV/AIDS Peer Educator, writer for the student newspaper The V.U.U. Informer, head of the Marketing Board of the N.A.A.C.P., and Historian of the National Pan Hellenic Council of Virginia Union University. In the past, I have served as an ambassador for the Model United Nations at Virginia Union University, Captain of the Honda Camus All-Stars, and freshmen orientation leader. After graduation, I will attend law school and study civil litigation. My goal for the 2010-2011 academic school year is to lead the chapter brothers into the communities to serve the people through our national programs: A Voteless People is a Hopeless People, Go to High School Go to College, and Project Alpha. We will take on the task of completing the fraternity's special initiatives as well: domestic violence awareness, recycling, March of Dimes, and much more. It is always our mission to uphold the aims of Alpha?Manly Deeds, Scholarship and Love for all Mankind?and to ensure that Gamma is always at the forefront of leadership and service. If you would like to contact me with questions or financial contributions to the chapter, you can contact me at MichaelLivingstonII@gmail.com, or Mlivingston@vuu.edu.
